County hires firm to design Steinhatchee flood projects

The Taylor County Commission has approved a proposal from engineering firm CHW to implement the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) recommendations to alleviate flooding issues in two areas in Steinhatchee, with the goal of having a construction contract in place by the end of the year.
