Kelby Maurice Williams transitioned on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, at the Haley Veteran Hospital in Riverview, Fla. He was born Sept. 24, 1969. Kelby attended and graduated from Taylor County High School. He loved fishing, grilling and sports. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. He leaves to cherish his memory: stepfather, Harry Demps; four children, Kameron Williams, Korrina Williams, Ryan Williams and Khloe Williams; stepson, Romerio Fews; one sister, Ingrid Williams; two brothers, Devin Demps and Lamar Demps; one grandchild, Spirit Williams; three stepsiblings, Jessica Williams, Jermaine Williams and Deava Williams; one uncle, Charles Williams; five aunts, Catherine Ruffin (Lawrence), Emma Jackson, Bettie Pigford, Thorter Williams and Frankie Wilkerson (Raymond); a special nephew, Anthony Sneed; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 5, from 5-6 p.m. at Stewart Memorial AME Church. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. at Stewart Memorial AME Church. Trinity Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
