Specialists on stand-by to help those in crisis

Members of the Florida Behavioral Health Association (FBHA) are working to serve those in impacted areas who may be struggling post-Hurricane Helene, and those in need are invited to contact local centers.

Apalachee Center has clinics in Taylor, Madison and Jefferson counties, which are all open.

Meridian Behavioral Healthcare is on standby for DCF/Managing Entity Lutheran Health Systems to launch the Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training Program (CCP).

Meridian is also operating its Meridian/Red Cross Outreach Program and Mobile Response Teams.
