Pageant postponed to Oct. 19

Organizers have announced that the 2024 Miss Florida Forest Festival Pageant has been postponed due to Hurricane Helene.

The pageant was originally scheduled to be held Saturday, Oct. 5, at Forest Capital Hall. However, the building is currently being used as a shelter due to the disaster. The pageant is tentatively scheduled to be held Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Taylor County Middle School auditorium.
