Typically drivers along Highway 19 South are on the lookout for deer in the early morning and late evening hours, however, Tuesday morning, it was a cow in the middle of the four-lane highway that resulted in a crash. A semi-truck and trailer rig hit a large cow that walked into the roadway around 5:48 a.m., causing the semi to jack-knife into the median, with the front tires digging into the dirt.
