Attempt to raise firefighter salaries fails a second time

One day after the Keaton Beach fire station was closed for the third day in the past two weeks due to staffing shortages, the Taylor County Commission again debated whether or to not raise county firefighter’s pay in an effort to retain the current workforce and attract new hires.
