Beach agrees to plea deal; ‘no contest’ to two misdemeanors

As part of a plea deal reached in the middle of his two-day trial, local businessman and recently-elected Republican committeeman Dustin Travis Beach pled “no contest” (with no admission of guilt) to a pair of misdemeanors, in exchange for the state dropping two felony charges that could have resulted in prison time.
