Major Steinhatchee fire destroys FEMA trailer and multiple sheds

A blazing wildfire illuminated Steinhatchee’s skies with a smoky red-orange tint Friday evening, Dec. 6, continuing to smolder for 20 hours before crews finally extinguished all the embers Saturday afternoon.
