The City of Perry City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, Dec. 16 at 4 p.m. in the city council room (224 S. Jefferson St., Perry, FL) to consider the following agenda items:
•Staff to present the ranking of firms responding to the RFQ for grant administration services for CDBG grant to the Council for decision.
•Staff to present the ranking of firms responding to the RFQ for engineering consultants for the CDBG grant to the Council for decision.
•Staff to present the ranking of firms responding to the RFQ for state lobbying services to the Council for decision.
•Council to discuss Traffic light at Center and Green St.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
PURCHASE OF A QUICK RESPONSE SQUAD FIRE APPARATUS
The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals from fire apparatus manufacturers to build a Quick Response Squad Fire Apparatus.
Qualified manufacturers desiring to provide proposed apparatus must submit five (5) packages in a sealed envelope or similar package markers “Sealed Proposal for Taylor County Fire Apparatus” to the Clerk of Court, 1st Floor Courthouse, 108 North Jefferson Street, Suite 102, Perry FL, to arrive no later than 4:00 P.M. local time, on 1/3/2025, local time. All Proposals MUST have the respondents name and mailing address clearly shown on the outside of the envelope or package when submitted. Proposals will be opened and respondents announced at 6:10 p.m. local time, or some thereafter as practical on 1/6/2025, in the Taylor County Administrative Complex, 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida, 32347.

The County reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject any or all Proposals, to cancel or withdraw this solicitation at anytime and waive any irregularities in the solicitation process. The County reserves the right to award any contract to the respondent which it deems to offer the best overall service; therefore the County is not bound to award any contract(s) based on the lowest quoted price. The County in its sole and absolute discretion, also reserves the right to assign a local business preference in an amount of five (5) percent of the proposal price pursuant to Taylor County Ordinance No. 2003-12. No faxed Proposals will be accepted.
