Commemorative ornaments available

The Taylor County Historical Society and Taylor County High School (TCHS) Art Department have teamed up to offer commemorative Christmas ornaments.

This year’s ornaments feature the famed Hampton Springs Hotel and a map commemorating the three hurricanes which hit the county in the past 13 months.

Ornaments, $10 each, are available at Rain’s Train Stop Flower Shop (located in the Old Depot). Order forms are also available online at the Society’s Facebook page. Each ornament is dated and handcrafted by TCHS art students, with proceeds benefitting each organization.
