    Jonathan ‘Jon’ Dean Morris

    Jonathan “Jon” Dean Morris, 50, of Steinhatchee died Dec. 24, 2024. He was born Feb. 18, 1974, to Clyde David and Mildred Patricia Morris in Decatur, Ga. Jon loved all things fishing. When he wasn’t holding a pole, his hand was attached to the gaming mouse. He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his aunts and uncles. He is survived by: his oldest son, Callon Morris and wife, Jacqueline Morris; Callon and his wife blessed Jon with two grandsons, Lincoln and Lucas; his daughter, Amberly Morris; his youngest son, Nathan Morris and Catalina (Sauer); LeslieAnne Morris, the love of his life; a brother, Jason David Morris; three nephews; and many cousins. His children were the three people he was most proud of. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. “When your heart is breaking for someone who is broken and your love can’t save them and your words won’t reach them. Call out…Call out with all that’s in you. Ask the Angels to go where you can not. The Angels went and said to him ‘Dear child, your soul a heavy burden it does carry. Your body child so weak and weary. It’s time to come home. Please go with us and we will guide you to offer some relief. Dear child we will take you to a blessed place of peace’.”
