No serious injuries in crash

No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Hwy. 19 near the intersection with Green Street Monday around noon. The driver of this 2003 Crown Victoria was cited after crossing the median and striking a vehicle traveling northbound on Hwy. 19. The driver stated wet road conditions caused her vehicle to spin out, fishtail and veer across the median when she had to rapidly accelerate to avoid being rear-ended by a vehicle traveling southbound on Hwy. 19 after she turned left off of Main Street.
