Permit fee waivers extended for site-built homes

With many homeowners facing a wide variety of challenges as they attempt to rebuild after Hurricane Helene, the Taylor County Commission agreed this week to continue waiving building permit fees through the end of January for those seeking to rebuild site-built homes destroyed or damaged by the storm.
