Sandra “Sandy” Kay Branch

Sandra “Sandy” Kay Branch, 67, departed our company and the good earth on Sept. 22, 2024, after an extended illness. Sandy was born in Thomasville, Ga., on Aug. 20, 1957, to Bertie Mae Whiddon Branch and Elbert Kinton Branch. She and her son, Brian, settled in Chiefland some 10 years ago. Brian provided care for his mother, assisted by local hospice in Chiefland. Sandy graduated from Taylor County High School in 1975, and immediately began a lifelong career in the fast food industry where she excelled at every position held ultimately leading her to management positions. She is survived by her two sons, Brian Sibley of Chiefland and Anthony “Tony” Sibley, Sparks, Ga. There will be a celebration of Sandy’s life on Saturday, Jan. 18, at noon at the home of David Johnson, 102 Judson Drive.
