James “Jimmy” Freeman

James “Jimmy” Quincy Freeman died Jan. 12, 2025. He was 55. Jimmy was born Feb. 18, 1969, in Perry to Warren Freeman and Karen Hodshire Freeman. He married Denice Page Freeman of Perry on Nov. 1, 1996. He loved to listen to heavy metal music, play the drums, play video games and work on cars, 4-wheelers, lawn mowers or anything else he could work on with his hands. He especially enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Karen Freeman, and his grandparents. He is survived by: his wife of 28 years, Denice; three sons, Allen “AJ” (Paige) Reams, Eric Reams and Shon Freeman; three daughters, Makayla Freeman, Abigail (Nathan) Freeman and Brianna (Terance) Reams; six grandchildren; one sister, Teri (Ken) Lambert; and two nephews, Ryan and Connor Lambert. No services are planned at this time.
