    Paul W. Reynolds

    Paul W. Reynolds, 69, of Perry passed away peacefully at his residence on Jan. 11, 2025, after an extended illness. Born in Tampa on July 21, 1955, Paul lived a life dedicated to his family, faith and community. He honorably served his Naomi Deloney Rouis country in the United States Army. Following his service, he built a successful career, spending 29 years with Tom’s Snacks Company/ Snyder’s Lance Company. He was also the owner of Reynolds Enterprises/ Reynolds Insulation. Paul was a Baptist and a member of First Baptist Church of Perry. Known for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor and boundless friendliness, Paul truly never met a stranger. His welcoming personality left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. His weekends were often spent on the softball f ield cheering for his granddaughters or attending Florida State University softball games. An avid gun collector, he also cherished boating trips to the river, where he found peace and joy. Among his greatest joys was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Paul was preceded in death by: his father, Jerome B. Reynolds; his mother, Delores York; and his stepfather, T.W. York. He is survived by: his loving wife, Janet Reams Reynolds; his children, Paul “Joey” Reynolds (Tiffany) and Teresa Compton (Jared); his beloved grandchildren, Bailee Willoughby (Zane), Rylan Compton and Hadley Compton. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and cherished family friends who brought joy and support throughout his life. Paul’s unwavering love for his family and his vibrant enthusiasm for life will forever be remembered by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Feb. 2, at 3 p.m. at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home in Perry. Family visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
