Fiddler Crab Festival set for Feb. 14-16

Enjoy a weekend in Steinhatchee and help locals recover from Hurricane Helene by attending the 17th annual Fiddler Crab Festival Feb. 14-16.

Enjoy big fun, live musical entertainment, lots of food, more than 300 vendors, a parade, the return of the “Swamp Water Cook-off,” a boat show, fishing tournament, poker run and more!

The 2025 Fiddler Crab Festival is adding a chili cook-off – open to the public to compete in. – Just bring five gallons of your best chili, swamp water, gumbo or chowder to Steinhatchee School on Saturday, Feb. 15. Awards will be given out for best chili and overall best taste.
