City council passes ‘civility’ resolution

During the same meeting the city council unanimously adopted a resolution “to promote civility” and to treat others in a “respectful and civil manner,” Councilwoman Shirlie Hampton apologized to City Attorney Hope Demps for what she described as “insults” made by Councilmember Bill Brynes.
