Cynthia Lee Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Lee Smith, born on March 28, 1965, in Bartow.

Cynthia, a devoted nurse and loving family member, peacefully departed this life on Jan. 13, 2025, at her home in Perry.

Her passion for helping others shone brightly throughout her career in the healthcare field, where she dedicated herself to the well-being of her patients at CSL Plasma.

Her compassion and unwavering commitment to caring for others made a profound impact in the lives she touched.

Above all, Cynthia cherished her family, finding immense joy in the company of her daughter, Brandi Jochim, and her beloved grandchildren.

She was a source of love and strength, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a joyful moment with her family. Her caring spirit and nurturing heart will be deeply missed.

Cynthia was receded in death by her parents, Donald Smith and Beverly Richardson; and her sister, Lorna.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Jochim (Walter); and her grandchildren, Dakota, Kenzlie, Dahlia, Arrabella and Tabius, who will forever cherish the memories and love she imparted to them.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In this time of sorrow, we hold dear the love Cynthia shared with us, and we find comfort in knowing her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
