State attorney labels deputies ‘justified’ in traffic stop shooting

Third Judicial Circuit State Attorney John Durrett has concluded the officer-involved fatal shooting of a St. Petersburg motorist by two Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) deputies was entirely “justified under Florida Law” and “criminal prosecution will not be pursued.”
