County seeks to install single dock, gangway at boat ramps

While storm debris removal, boat ramp repairs and channel and canal waterway marker replacement efforts continue, some local canals (above) have started to look much improved five months after Hurricane Helene devastated the Taylor County coastline. With the arrival of spring weather prompting many anglers to head to the Gulf, county staff is working diligently with local vendors to have at least one dock and walkway installed at public boat ramps in Steinhatchee and Keaton Beach.

Taylor County officials continue to work diligently on a number of important projects for property owners and visitors along the local coast.
