Residents invited to ‘meet-and-greet’ for Taylor County CERT

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Division of Emergency Management is re-launching its Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program with a meet-and-greet planned Monday, April 14, at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) from 3-5 p.m.

“Please plan to stop by and learn more about our CERT program and how you can get involved. Volunteers are needed,” Emergency Management Director Dr. Danny Glover said.

Light refreshments will be served.

The EOC is located at 591 U.S. Highway 27 East (adjacent of the Taylor County Jail).
