Learn to make sourdough bread during April 10 & April 22 classes

Learn the art and health benefits of sourdough during classes planned Thursday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 22, at the Taylor County Extension Office.

“Designed for beginners, the class will highlight the history of this heirloom dough, its health benefits and the steps to make it,” Extension Director Lori Wiggins said.

“Bakers will get to sample fresh sourdough bread and take home a starter kit,” she said.

Classes are limited to 10 individuals each, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cost is $30 per person (cash or check only).

Both classes will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the extension office located at Forest Capital Hall.
