    Patricia Ann ‘Patsy’ Leverett

    Patricia Ann “Patsy” Leverett, born on Feb. 14, 1947, in Harlen, Ky., passed away April 11, 2025, in Perry.

    She lived a life defined by her warm spirit and the love she shared with those around her.

    Patsy was known for her gentle nature and her unwavering dedication as a cashier at Walmart, where she created connections with many who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

    A devoted mother, she is survived by her beloved son, Sonny Leverette, who cherished the memories they built together.

    Patsy found joy in simple pleasures, delighting in her crafts, spending time in her yard and nurturing the beautiful flowers that bloomed around her home.

    Her passion for creativity and her love for nature reflected the beauty she brought into the lives of others.

    Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rhoda Worthington, and an infant son, Dennis Leverett.

    She is survived by: her son, Sonny Leverette and his wife, Dreese; grandson, Josh Leverette and his wife,Taylor; great-grandsons, Halston and Greyson Leverette; and two sisters, Linda Carter and Vivian Cash; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

    Loved and remembered by her family and friends, Patsy’s legacy lives on in their hearts.

    Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home with Brother Tim McDonald and Pastor Jeremy Gray officiating following a public visitation at 10 a.m.

    Patsy Leverett will be profoundly missed, but her spirit and the memories she gifted to the world will forever remain in our hearts.
