Mark your calendars and plan to attend the Monday, April 28, meeting of the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library featuring local author Susan H. Lincoln.

The former longtime Perry Newspapers editor and current columnist will discuss her latest book, “When the Pink Clouds Come Out,” which chronicles the joys of family life in Perry.

Her previous book, “When Mimosas Bloom,” is a collection of stories also centered around her family and community.

The Monday night program is free, and open to the public, and will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the public library.

A door prize will be awarded and the program will also be livestreamed on the Friends’ Facebook page.

The library is located at 403 North Washington Street.
