Dunnell awarded the Brian Schultz STEM Scholarship

Variah Dunnell (center), the daughter of Varian “Bear” and Laquita Dunnell, has been awarded the prestigious Brian Schultz STEM Career Scholarship. She has also been awarded a “full ride” scholarship to the University of Chicago, where she will pursue a degree in the medical field. She was recognized at the school board’s Tuesday, April 15, meeting and is shown with Superintendent of Schools Reggie Wentworth (left) and Director of Instruction Jill Rudd (right).
Taylor County High School (TCHS) Senior Variah Dunnell has been awarded the prestigious Brian Schultz STEM Career Scholarship and plans to attend the University of Chicago to study medicine, with an emphasis on biological chemistry.
