The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Division of Emergency Management will hold three hurricane preparedness events in early May.
The events will be held:
• Tuesday, May 6, from 4-6 p.m. at the Shady Grove Community Center (3845 Alton Wentworth
Rd.);
• Thursday, May 8, from 4-6 p.m. at the Steinhatchee Community Center (1013 Riverside Drive);
• Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Forest Capital Hall (204 Forest Park Drive).
“Bring the family out for a free day of fun and entertainment while getting free supplies to make sure you and your loves one are prepared for this year’s hurricane season,” organizers said.
The events will feature free information, presentations, free products and supplies (flashlights, fire-aid kits, etc.), free resources, kid zone, food, drawings and response vehilces.
