Council votes to lease portion of ‘Foley’ property

The Perry City Council has voted 3-1 in favor of entering into a short-term lease with an industrial fabrication and construction company interested in renting a small amount of space at the city-owned “Foley property” — a 55-acre tract located directly across from Georgia-Pacific’s (GP) Foley Cellulose Mill.
