Taylor Master Gardener volunteers host annual plant sale May 3

Taylor County’s Master Gardener volunteers will host their annual Spring Festival Plant Sale this Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Forest Capital Hall.

The plant sale will feature a wide variety of native plants, perennials, annuals, vegetables and shrubs available for purchase.

There will also be three 10-minute garden info sessions:

• 9:45 a.m.: Attracting pollinators.

• 10:15 a.m.: How to recognize invasive plants.

• 10:45 a.m.: Backyard citrus.

Master Gardener volunteers will be on site to help with plant selections and to share care information. Drawings for door prizes will be held, and additional vendors will be set up outside.

Forest Capital Hall is located at 203 Forest Park Drive.
