Hurricane supplies giveaway May 10

Taylor County Emergency Management will host a Hurricane Preparedness Event this Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to1 p.m. at Forest Capital Park.

“Bring the family out for a free day of fun and education, while getting free supplies to make sure you and your loved ones are prepared for this year’s hurricane season,” Emergency Management Director Dr. Danny Glover said.

“There will be free presentations, as well as free products and supplies like flashlights, first aid kits and more. We will have a Kids Zone, food and first response vehicle displays,” he said.
