New interfacility transfer service will begin July 1

Survival Flight EMS, LLC, will begin providing ground-based interfacility transfers from Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) on July 1, under a new agreement that both county and hospital officials expect will cut down on the time patients must wait for such transfers.
