County receives $9.1 million bid for dredging

In the latest setback for Taylor County’s efforts to dredge its coastal canals, officials received only one bid from a contractor interested in dredging Keaton Beach’s canals and the Steinhatchee boat ramp basin — and that bid is millions of dollars more than the county has budgeted for the projects.
