GP seeking permit to resume discharging in Fenholloway River

The Foley Cellulose Mill’s $65 million, 15.3-mile underground pipeline runs from near the mill site to a discharge point near Peterson’s Landing approximately 1.5 miles from the mouth of the Fenholloway River.
In a draft wastewater permit renewal application submitted to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), Georgia-Pacific (GP) has proposed moving its wastewater discharge point back to its original location near the former Foley Cellulose Mill property.
