Evelyn Grier

Mrs. Evelyn Grier, 98, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, in Dowling Park. Mrs. Grier was born in Madison on Feb. 15, 1927, to Ed and Delia Thigpen Houck. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Delia Houck. Mrs. Grier is survived by her sister, Carolyn Kleja of Bethlehem, Ga. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 235 NW Orange Ave., Madison. Visitation will start one hour prior, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 19149 US-90, Greenville.
