Century Ambulance, which has provided emergency medical services (EMS) to Taylor County since 2021, did not submit a bid to county officials for a new contract. Century’s current contract is set to expire on Dec. 31, so a new provider will take over the service beginning Jan. 1, 2026. The Taylor County Commission opened three bids during its meeting on Monday, Aug. 4.
