Diane Billie Morris Bodiford, 70, of Perry passed away on Aug. 11, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born on Feb. 14, 1955, to Bill and Elease Bodiford, and was one of five children. She was preceded in death by: her first husband, Winston Cannon; her parents; her sister, Mary Swindle; and her brothers, Larry Bodiford and Billy Bodiford. Diane lived a life filled with hard work, love and dedication to her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and giving her best to her work each day. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. When her great-grandchildren arrived, they brought even more joy and laughter into her days. She especially loved hosting family gatherings during the holidays, filling her home with the warmth of good food, laughter and love. She is survived by: her husband, Tim Aldous; her brother, Johnny Bodiford; and her children, Elisa Foskey, Mary Bodiford and Angel Morris Denson. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Eli Foskey, Evan and Taylor Linton-Foskey, Ethan Foskey, Brianna and Daniel Horton, Kirsten and Michael McMillan, and Michael Denson and his sister, Harley Denson; and her great-grandchildren, Hope McMillan, George McMillan and Jasper Denson. She is also survived by her aunts, Lavater Johnson and Edie Watt McDonald; her uncle, Percy Jacobs; and her ex-husband and friend, Freddie Morris; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. We invite family and friends to gather to honor her memory. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 1-2 p.m. at Joe. P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry, followed by services at 2 p.m., also at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. All arrangements are under the care of Burns Funeral Home.
