Library friends will welcome Walker Aug. 25

Perry native and author Delores Leggett Walker of Mayo will be the guest speaker at the August meeting of the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library.

The meeting will be held Monday, Aug. 25, at the library starting at 5:30 p.m.

Walker is a former newspaper columnist and author of Christian fiction.

Her latest novel is “Rick,” in which “a southern small town promises answers to a family secret and an unexpected love.”
