Tree removal begins at Forest Capital Park

Crews started work Monday, Aug. 18, removing more than a dozen trees located near the Perry Garden Club building at Forest Capital Park. Club representatives urged the board in June to cut down a total of 17 trees within striking distance of the club building, stating that a number of them had been damaged by hurricanes or were infested with beetles.
