Council renews Duke franchise agreement for the next 30 years

At its Aug. 12 meeting, the City of Perry voted unanimously to renew a franchise agreement with Duke Energy that continues to grant the utility provider the right to utilize city streets and rights-of-way to provide electrical power for the next 30 years.
