Commission earmarks nearly $6 million for Elevate Florida

The Taylor County Commission has agreed to allocate an additional $5.9 million of its share of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funds to the state’s Elevate Florida program in hopes the money will help assist more local homeowners attempting to repair or rebuild after Hurricane Helene.
