County prepares to supervise state-inmate work squads

In response to Taylor County Sheriff Wayne Padgett stating he would eliminate all inmate work squads if his budget were to be cut this year, the Taylor County Commission is preparing to take over the supervision of two state inmate work squads currently overseen by Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) correctional officers.
