County moves forward with taking over emergency management

The Taylor County Commission is moving forward with its decision to take back control of Taylor County Emergency Management from the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO), and the board is expected to vote next week on formally hiring current EM Director Dr. Danny Glover Jr. to retain his position over the department following the transition.
