BBQ Fest Sept. 26-27

Smokin’ in the Pines BBQ Festival mascots “Muddy” and “Sizzle” made their way around Perry Thursday to remind everyone to attend this weekend’s “Bugs & BBQ” festival at Forest Capital Park. Admission is free Friday and Saturday, and the event will include live music, food and craft vendors, a VW Bug Show, Kid’s Fun Zone, Kid’s Que Contest and “People’s Choice” BBQ tasting contest (Saturday at 12:30 p.m.).
