City agrees to buy 17-acre property

Over the objections of Councilman Bill Brynes, the Perry City Council voted 3-1 to move forward with signing a contract – with conditions – to purchase a 17.66-acre property near the intersection of Old Dixie Highway and Plantation Road to serve as the potential future site of a new city water well and water treatment facility.
