Dinner, live auction is Oct. 3, followed by 5K run/walk Oct. 4

After hurricanes Idalia and Helene forced the cancelation of the group’s fundraiser and events the last two years, Jogging For Jugs, will host its2025 annual “Celebration of Life Find a Cure”dinner and live auction on Friday, Oct. 3 at Steinhatchee Marina at Deadman’s Bay.

The live auction will begin on Friday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m.

Everyone is invited to come early to browse the items up for bid in the auction, purchase a chance to win a 50/50 drawing or a drawing for a new golfcart on display at Steinhatchee Marina while enjoying the music and menu specials.

All cancer patientsunder active treatment and being served by Joggingfor Jugs will eat dinner for free.

The Jogging for Jugs Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Steinhatchee Community Center.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by a flag ceremony and national anthem at 8 a.m.

A “pink pancake” breakfast, by Freedom Tractor Services and Cornerstone Insurance Group, will be served at 9:30 a.m. at no charge for race participants and for a $6 donation to the public.
