Deadline for annual Florida Forest Festival Baby Photo Contest is Oct. 10

This Friday, Oct. 10, is the deadline to enter the 2025 Florida Forest Festival Baby Photo Contest.

The contest has four age groups: 0-6 months; 7-11 months; 1 year; 2 years;3 years; and 4 years.

Judging criteria includes: uniqueness of photo, capturing the moment, baby showing personality and photogenic baby.

Contest requirements include: must be an amateur photo (not professional or studio); must be enlarged to a 5×7 print (matted, not framed); only one photo per child; must be the only subject (child) in the photo; and photo must be taken after April 1, 2025.

Entries may be turned in at Photos, Frames & Trophies, located at 102 E. Main St.

The entry fee is $10, and the required mat border is $5 (cash only for both).

This is not a Facebook contest, and judges will award trophies for first, second and third place.

Winners will be announced at the Florida Forest Festival Little King & Queen Pageant on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Forest Capital Hall.
