City council hires consultant to pursue federal ‘brownfield’ grant

Approving a recommendation from City Manager John Hart, the Perry City Council has unanimously voted to hire a consultant to pursue U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfield Grant funding to “assist with coordinated economic sustainability and revitalization efforts throughout the city.”
