Commission approves state funding requests

With Taylor County’s two members of the Florida Legislature set to be in Perry on Monday, Oct. 20, to meet with local residents and officials, the Taylor County Commission has outlined its priorities for state funding requests, including money for three fire stations, upgrades to Perry-Foley Airport and Forest Capital Park, a new animal shelter and a special-needs emergency shelter.
