Posted on October 17, 2025
The Taylor County Commission has awarded a five-year contract to Survival Flight EMS of Batesville, Ark., to serve as the county’s new 911 emergency medical services (EMS) provider starting next year.
Representatives with Taylor County’s new emergency medical services (EMS) provider Survival Flight were at the Smokin’ in the Pines BBQ Festival last month to give local residents a chance to get an up-close look at the new ambulances that will be serving the community beginning Jan. 1, 2026, when Survival Flight’s contract begins. The company plans to also have an ambulance at next weekend’s Florida Forest Festival.Subscribe to our e-Edition and read the rest of the story. Already a subscriber? Click here to sign in.
