Clean up day planned at Veterans Memorial Park

Local residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and pitch in to help clean up Veterans Memorial Park on Jefferson Street on Saturday, Nov. 1, beginning at 9 a.m.

The community event aims to spruce up the park, located at 950 N. Jefferson Street in Perry, in honor of the men and women who served our country.

Most cleaning supplies will be provided, and volunteers can look forward to a free lunch once the work is completed.

The clean-up is being organized in collaboration with American Legion Post 96, Post 291 of Steinhatchee and Perry Elks Lodge #1851, with sponsorship from Amy Cope Southern Properties, LLC.
